Esther Shuman of MyHeritage shares her experience on live streaming and using BeLive to help more people discover their heritage and empower their futures through genealogy research!
Live Streaming Helps MyHeritage Clients with Their Genealogy Research
It’s always important to know your past to be able to plan for the future. That’s what MyHeritage wants to achieve with their family history search services. But it’s not just about connecting people on social media or doing a DNA test. To search family history, advanced and meticulous methods and technologies are needed.
MyHeritage is able to give its clients updates on its genealogy research methods by meeting clients and followers through live streaming on its Facebook page. By interacting with followers in real-time through live video, more people will be able to discover their family history. Armed with their family ancestry knowledge, they’re empowered to plan for a brighter future.
But how exactly has live streaming and BeLive helped the genealogy research company reach and engage with millions of people around the world? Esther Shuman shares her insights about their BeLive experience below!
Tell us something about you and your show that you’d like people to know about.
My name is Esther and I work in Marketing for MyHeritage. We’ve been providing online sessions/Q and As for our Facebook followers so that they can take advantage of their time at home to advance their family history research.
Why did you go into video marketing or live streaming?
With the outbreak of the global pandemic and millions across the world staying at home, we thought it would be a good opportunity to jump on something that we’ve wanted to start for a long time – live streaming on our Facebook page. Its been a great learning experience for us and has been very successful.
What has been the biggest impact of live streaming in your life?
It’s been a great way to connect to our social media followers and those who are not necessarily MyHeritage users yet but are interested in our useful content.
