BeLiver Feature: Lynnis Woods-Mullins, Live Streaming Wellness for the Mind, Body, and Spirit

You are never too old to learn or start something new. This is something that our BeLiver, Lynnis Woods-Mullins, proved when at the age of 51, she decided to pursue her passion and use live streaming while doing it.

Lynnis has wanted to educate women over the age of 40 on how they can achieve total wellness of the mind, body, and spirit through holistic practice and fitness so she did it. Lynnis created Wellness Woman 40, a company that helps women over 40 achieve total wellness and she does this with the help of live streaming.

Tell us something about your show that you’d like people know about.

I started the Facebook live show Lynnis Minutes in an effort to give tips in a concise yet entertaining manner for the members of my Facebook Group. I have had a podcast/webcast (The Wellness Journey) for nine years so I am very familiar with the medium and decided that I wanted to do something shorter 3 times a day with the same kind of information on my webcast/podcast.

Why did you go into video marketing or live streaming?

I have a podcast/webcast and have produced it for 9 years. I have also produced other shows as podcast or webcast. Going to the live stream medium seemed to be the next strategic thing to do and might be easier to monetize.

What has been the biggest impact of live streaming in your life/business?

My followers are getting to know me better as a person. I have already increased my followers but most importantly I am beginning to get more inquiries regarding my services and more clients.

How has BeLive helped your business?

I first started with Believe as a trial and decided to subscribe. After about a month I decided to not have it for another month. Reason being, I found a more “robust” platform that had more features i.e. the ability to upload to YouTube immediately. However, one of their customer service people reached out to me and asked me why I wanted to cancel my subscription then offered me 60 days free. I decided right then and there I would stay with Believe. Not because of the free subscription but because of the service. That is very important when one is engaged in a virtual business.

In terms of increase in business I just gave my first real “marketing” type live so we will see. I am planning on monetizing all my shows by having them transcribed into eBooks that I will sell from my site.

How are you promoting your product or service on your BeLive shows?

I have done all of that through the years on my podcast/webcast. I will do so on my Lynnis Minutes show as well. I plan to have less guests on Believe initially because of my other show but over time I will have a few more.

Which BeLive feature do you think has helped you achieved the results for your show?

I do like the ability to use titles and crawlers. That is a nice touch.
